From the outset Istidama took the approach of developing a construction system that was materials led with no reliance or adherence to existing legacy components or materials.

The Istidama team of shareholders, directors and consultants were assembled from the fields of chemistry, structural engineering, building pathology, chartered surveying and road mapped the process to provide a ‘bottom up’ methodology that would ensure that our Offsite solution would provide the paradigm shift that has always been, manufacturing and property development promised but not delivered.

Our Objective

The team identified the need to address climate change and the unpredictability of extreme weather events that were occurring worldwide and causing building failures by subjecting them to pressures and forces beyond their design capacity at the point of concept. In order to design a sustainable, robust and future proof Offsite building system it needed to be designed for extremes in temperature, humidity,fire, flooding, wind pressure and structural loading whilst providing low maintenance, high quality internal air, warmth or coolth depending upon the requirement and to be extremely energy efficient in the process .

All delivered in a volume repeatable precision quality, at a better cost to performance ratio than other competition systems currently available.
